Rachel Ross
Rachel Ross seeks to share with her students the immeasurable benefits that practicing yoga, meditation and mindfulness can bring to their lives. Rachel's loving presence, humility and warm heart will have you smiling on your mat as you breathe and connect to your own inner light. Her classes flow using breath, movement and music to create space for challenging poses and inner calm. As a coach and teacher, Rachel’s greatest joy comes from guiding students to connect and align with their breath and body. Her classes and workshops are a fusion of breath awareness, movement, spiritual inquiry, humility and music designed to help students embody peaceful presence.
Rachel has been a student of Eastern traditions and yoga for over 20 years, spanning across the globe. She lived in Varanasi, India for a year where she studied yoga, Hindi, Sanskrit, Buddhism and Tibetan Art. She attended The New School and Parsons. During her 15 year career in fashion design, yoga continually called her back to her mat to connect to her body and her own light through breath and movement, and she honored this calling. Rachel has completed over 800 hours of yoga teacher training with the Jivamukti and Ashtanga traditions and also teaches meditation, yin and restorative yoga.
Rachel is a Reiki energy healing practitioner and intuitive. Her gift is her ability to drop in and meet you right where you are with clarity, care and compassion. Utilizing the high frequency Reiki energy, Rachel works to assist clients with reducing stress, anxiety and feeling more fulfilled in their lives. Rachel sees clients at Sukha and Remotely. Rachel also offers crystal sound baths, sound healings and personalized guided meditations for corporate and private clients.
